During my recent romantic escape at Ambassador Hotel, I found myself captivated by its prime location just across the bridge from the stunning Botanic Gardens, perfect for a morning jog with my companion. The room was spacious and modern, complete with USB ports, a flat-screen TV, and a hot shower-ideal for a marathon runner needing downtime. The hotel staff were particularly friendly and accommodating; they even held our luggage post-checkout, allowing us to explore the nearby quaint cafes along Byres Road without a care. Breakfast in the recently revamped dining room was a treat, with views overlooking the gardens that framed our meals beautifully. Despite my light-sleeping tendencies, the overall experience was wonderfully serene, making Ambassador Hotel a standout in Glasgow's West End. I can confidently say this gem not only offered great value but also made for a memorable getaway with my special someone.
